Teecha.com
Teecha is the alter ego of songwriter, producer and visual artist Lionel Crawford, Teecha rides the Soca Rhythm, Reggae and a refined version of Spouge. Teecha also rides the Pop-A-Tuk beat, music he describes as popular music riding a variation on the Barbadian Tuk Beat.

Teecha's music is festive and many of the beats are infectious and create a party environment, but his lyrical content can be like a double edge sword.

In 1983, Teecha paid tribute to Cropover, the annual end of crop festival held in Barbados by singing the song 'Crop Over" then turned around in 1984 and released the empowerment song, "Take Control", which had a more serious tone.

In 1996, the Bridging De Gap  album followed the same format, where Teecha gave us music to dance to and lyrics with a message to think about, whether the message was about the great divide between the haves and the have not's in "Big Money" or you were simply amused by the words from "Wickets Flying" which describe an interestingly provocative Cricket match, Teecha engages us with his delivery and style.
