Welcome to the Music Village. Here you will meet musicians & people involved in music that I have worked with or had the pleasure of knowing. Feel free to mingle, browse, spend some time in the village, because in the village you never know who you might meet. Thanks for coming.
I remember being by Skip's (MaDonald)  apartment and he complained that Jaeme, who,at that time, was a little kid, kept playing with his guitars and detuning them. Skip had just gotten a Hamer guitar with allen wrench locks and was ecstatic. He told me and Harold Sargent, he (Jaeme) can mess with this guitar now, but he can't detune it. Well, several years later and not only can Jaeme detune a guitar but he can tune it, rock it, roll it, funk it, blues it, hell he can do anything he wants with it. Oh, and he can sing too. A chip off the old block Skip!!!

Pressure Point was performing at a university, I can't remember which one, but it was the last song of the night and a flash pot was set to go off at  front, center stage, at the end of the song. Pat Thompson was really emotionally into the song and if you've ever seen her perform, you know what I'm talking about. I had already told her to stay away from that area of the stage, but emotions got the better of her and she got the signals crossed. She thought she was told to go to the front, center of the stage. Grand fanale, Bang!!! Poofff!!! The flash pot went off. Pat's entire left side turned gray, I mean from her hair to her feet including her skin.My first thought was where is the nearest hosiptal, but as I ran up and grabbed her, I realized that it was residue from the flash pot and she was not burned. The Diva was alright. We all had a good laugh after but at the time it was not funny at all.  For a little while after the incident we affectionately, referred to her performance as smoking. Oh she tore it up.

Relections
Relections
Pat Thompsom, performing at a Hartford CT night club.
This was the first time she performed as a featured artist and not as a member of any particular group. The house was packed and she certainly didn't let us down.
Drummer, Producer Harold Sargent has been a mentor and stabalizing force for many Hartford area musicians for years. If I need honest feedback on a project I am working on, or to be pointed in the right direction Harold is always there and he has done so for countless others.
