Are you the sole performer on PoeticWorkz or did you have help?
For the most part I performed everything except for the  tenor saxophone on track #2 "PoeticWorkz," which was performed by Paul Priester, the Spoken-Word on track #11"As The Day Unfolds" performed by Juan Perez and bass on track #15 "Home," performed by Oscar Woods. Actually it was kind of funny because I would tell a few musicians about what I was working on and they would say , "sounds great, give me a call," but when I called they were too busy, so I did what I usually do, cut my own tracks. The project was actually finished when I let a few friends hear some tracks and they wanted to cut. I was a bit hesitant, because the parts were already down, but the concept of sharing over rode any other thoughts at that moment. So Paul and Oscar came in and played on the tracks and I enjoyed having them perform. Juan on the other hand kept after me about doing something musically together. Juan is a visual artist, who has had visual art shows in Boston, New York and Taiwan. We talk art and music all the time, so one weekend he came down from Boston and while I was putting down a track, he started writing down what he was visually seeing as he listened to the music. I asked him to read it to me and he did, but in English so I would understand. I told him no, read it in Spanish and when he did, it floored me, not so much what he was saying but the way he said it. I put him in the vocal booth and recorded him. That's how he became the only other voice on the CD, well except for the doves. They appear as themselves.
